How to update the site
  1. Close the clinic for a day
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Closures → Add New: the date and the reason as shown ("Thanksgiving") → Publish. Home and Get care say "Closed today — Thanksgiving" and point to the next session.
  2. Change the hours
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Clinic hours → the session → day, opens, closes (24-hour), a note → Update. Every page reads the sheet; nothing else to change.
  3. Update the income table each January
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Income table → each row → monthly and yearly line from the new HHS guidelines, and the guideline year → Update. The calculator on Home and Get care reads the rows.
  4. Post the next dental day
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Dental days → Add New: the Saturday, chairs, chairs filled, a note → Publish. Update "filled" as the list grows; past days leave by themselves.
  5. Open or fill a volunteer role
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Volunteer roles → the role → places open → Update. 0 means full; the page says "we keep a list".
  6. Change a service
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Services → open it → who it is for, how often, the clinic cost per visit and how it was worked out, the paragraph → Update.
  7. Report a number
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Numbers → Add New: the number as shown, and the sentence that says how it was counted. No method, no number; no claims about anyone's health.
  8. Publish a new Form 990
    Media → Add New and upload the PDF. Then Sawmill Free Clinic → Financial documents → Add New, choose the file, the fiscal year and the kind, and Publish. The three newest 990s are listed by themselves.
  9. Send year-end giving statements
    Sawmill Free Clinic → Year-end statements → look at donors marked Fix or Check, add checks and stock under "Gifts entered by hand", preview a statement, then Send. In this demonstration nothing is sent.
